makepositive (MP) is looking for a motivated, energetic and experienced Salesforce

Implementation / Functional Consultant to join MP’s Solution Engineer team. This is an

exciting opportunity to work with other Solution Engineers and Senior Salesforce

Consultants of all sorts (Technical Architects, Solution Architects, UX Designers,

Implementation Consultants) to assist Account Executives during technical and commercial

discussions with existing and prospect MP customers.

 

You will be exposed to customers across a range of verticals and industries, providing you

with a vast array of exposure to a wide range of business challenges in various business

segments.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing Salesforce for a range of

organisations and is comfortable discussing business and technology advantages of

Salesforce to C-level executives from diverse industries. Ability to draw on experience and

lessons learned from previous Salesforce projects is key to this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

●Lead technical and business discovery workshops.

●Capture business requirements and align them to the appropriate salesforce solution.

●Develop high level estimates of the requirements.

●Create customer roadmap and project assumptions

●Identify project risks and potential mitigations

●Have knowledge of all the salesforce products and technologies.

●Work as part of a bid team to respond to RFPs / RFIs / RFQs.

 

A typical day in the life of a makepositive Solutions Engineer:

 

●Discover and analyse individual customer goals & challenges and map those back

into the Salesforce solution proposal / response.

●Function effectively in a fast-paced high-energy selling environment and successfully

balance multiple opportunities.

●Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including ISV Partner and

AppExchange tool knowledge, providing clients with options that will most effectively

meet their budgets and requirements.

●Participate in creating proposals and outputs working with the makepositive sales

and delivery team to design innovative solutions to address challenges. Creating

clear and detailed outputs; documents and or presentations.

●Provide support for both sales and delivery teams in the sales to delivery process.

●Participate in training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge

necessary to be effective in the Solution Engineer role

●Travel domestically and internationally to meet existing customers and prospects

●Network and socialise within the salesforce ecosystem; some after work events and

meetups.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

●Previous exposure to the full project lifecycle

●Proven time management & prioritisation skills

●Ability to communicate effectively within the makepositive team

●Broad knowledge of the salesforce platform

●Some experience in Salesforce delivery

●Salesforce certifications are desired

●Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

●Experience presenting to executives across all business units.
